The act of painting is an intensely personal one. Painting is about having a vision, a thought, and a desire to communicate on a level of intimacy that conventional language will not allow. If you fail in getting your ideas across the first time, then there is the second or third try - a visual redialing that is perpetually being called and answered. To me, the very process of painting is a metaphor of life.
