The vivid colors and dreamlike spatial relationships of forms are the trademarks in Prashna-Mei’s paintings. Born in Pingtun County in Taiwan, Mei attended the prestigious Fu-Hsin trade and arts school and later the Christian Chung Deh College. From 1994 till now, Mei participated and facilitated in over 40 creative/painting workshops, some lasting as long as a month. Her exploits have taken her to India as well as continental Europe and the Americas. In 2000 Mei co-sponsoring such workshops in Denmark and Sweden, also she has successfully lead painting and dancing workshops in Taipei during the years of 2002, 2003, 2006 and 2007. When she is not traveling the globe, Mei resides herself to her art, the whole process involves more than the physical act of painting. Mei feels that nature is her international studio where she will sit in meditation and allow the painting to happen and to unfold.
